What is BSU?

The Gulf Coast Baptist Student Union is a Christ-centered, student-led, campus minister-directed ministry. We are dedicated to providing students with social and outreach opportunities in which they can be accepted for who they are while being challenged to seriously develop their Christian faith. We exist by the motto Knowing Christ and Making Him Known.

We understand that a walk with Christ has a very personal aspect to it, but that true Christian change cannot be achieved unless there is a supportive and nurturing body of Christians to grow in. We seek to help students grow in small group and corporate worship settings.

Our mission at Baptist Student Union is to lead college students to follow Jesus and become people of influence. We seek to do this by involving students in the areas of discipleship, worship, outreach, fellowship and missions.
